Well, that's that.

So....I don't have a job anymore.
Apparently my job at the studio was only seasonal.
At first, I really hated that job.
Then I grew to love it.
now it's gone.
Well, that's that.

It's Party Time!

Here's a summary of my birthday bash!

When I woke up on my birthday I found these roses and candy cane kisses from....Kaytee! and the plant to the left is called a "palm plant," and Gerald sent it to me! What a goofy boyfriend ;)

That night some of us headed to Sonora Grill to enjoy some good mexican food, and for me to have my first alcoholic drink.

I drank a Mojito, and a couple sips of Pete and Jeremy's beer.

Whitney and I did a shot...it was ok.

We forgot birthday candles for my cake, so I used the candle that was in the center piece from the restaurant...we are innovators!

Overall, it was a GREAT birthday!

Behold!

...The ultimate Hershey's Kiss...

No people, I am not tricking you. I did not unwrap this kiss, stick THREE pieces of paper in, and then wrap it back up again. This is real.
This is so real that I had to blog about it.
At first I really thought to myself, "did I just win a contest? Am I a winner of the strangest Hershey Kiss contest ever?"
Nevertheless, i'm blogging about.
Pathetic? I don't know, you tell me. ok, don't tell me that i'm pathetic. keep that to yourself.

Introducing....

...this guy!

Everyone, meet Gerald. (Hi Gerald)
For those of you who don't know, Gerald is my boyfriend (dun, dun, dun).
Some of you might have seen him at OVCC in October when he came to church.

We went to high school together so we've known each other for about 5 years, but it wasn't until this summer that things started leaning towards "more than friends" (ooh la la).
Gerald is an army medic stationed in N.C. so this Thanksgiving I visited him, and we had a lovely time.
Yeah, long distance sucks, but it's totally worth it. I mean come on, look at this guy!

He'll be back in Utah for Christmas and I can't wait!

That is all (for now :) ).

Tagged.

This 4th file folder/4th photo was so 3 weeks ago! I don't care. I didn't do it, and I really wanted to show you my photo.

It's Wylie!
(don't be scared by his eyes)
This was taken on our way to a bbq. Wylie didn't want to go outside, so he hid in my parents laundry hamper...

What a cute little puppy. I miss you Wylie!

Stacy and Jeremy's Apartment Takeover!

Alright, here are some before and after pictures of S&J's apartment that Annette Curtis and I decorated while they were on their honeymoon. Here we go.

Before: This is taken from the kitchen/front door looking into the living room.
I was already moving furniture around before I remembered to take these pictures.

After: TA-DA! We added shelves on the wall, candles, a rug, 2 lamps and much, much more! The tv had two "towers" on each side. I took one and turned it on it's side, and placed the second one by the kitchen to hold some of Stacy's large appliances. (see picture below)

This picture is darker, but you can still see the two towers.

The tower has all of their DVD's in it plus some other books and things.

Moving on to the Kitchen.
Before: They didn't have a dining table or anything on the walls so Annette and I changed that right away.

After: TA-DA! We bought some fun pictures from Target that S&J liked, and added some fun glasses that they received from their wedding. (yes that's my mom in the doorway leading to the office).

Jeremy's Office.
Before: This is taken from the doorway. The office has a great fireplace, and Jeremy's desk in the corner.

After: TA-DA! We moved the yellow couch in here, and tried to cover it with one of Stacy's quilts.

Stacy's bathroom:
Before:This is the little bathroom inside their bedroom that has become Stacy's domain.

After: I love the picture we bought. I think it looks very Stacy.

I forgot to take pictures of their real bathroom, and the after shot of their bedroom. My bad!
Hopefully you guys will go over and check it out in person, because these pictures don't do justice.

Piper Down!

Obviously this isn't the post I promised you guys of Stacy&Jeremy's apartment takeover, but this was too good to not share.

So today was not my best day. I was feeling really overwhelmed with homework and not enough time in the day to do it. I was on campus later today around 3 taking pictures for a project I have. I'm walking down the sidewalk feeling crummy, and I hear something in the distance...BAGPIPES!
That's right, I could hear someone, somewhere playing the bagpipes. I love the bagpipes so of course I followed the sound down and around campus to find this guy...

He was standing on the island of the duck pond belting out what seemed to be a remix of Amazing Grace.

It was the perfect moment.
Needless to say, he brightened my day! and kept these geese entertained because they were gathered behind him listening.

Bottom line: when you least expect it a bagpiper will show up and surprise you.

My first "client"

My friends Tina and Dave are getting married in May and they asked me to photograph their wedding invitations! Ya!

Tina has all of the engagement photos or else I would show you, so you'll have to be content with pictures of us instead!
We started at Weber State around the pond that surprisingly was not a pond today, so we went to Beus Park and had some fun instead.

They turned out great and Tina was very pleased with them, and that's all that matters right!

I can't wait to see what they look like on the invitations, and I can't wait for the actual wedding. Woo Weddings!

Finally!

Well it's been one month since I last posted...oops!
I will try to fill you in on what has been happening this past month.

I am having fun with my job and I really enjoy it. Sometimes it's a little stressful, but there is more fun than stress so that's nice.

Craig graduated from Full Sail on Friday! CONGRATS BRO!

They grow up so fast...tear.

While my parents have been in Florida with Craig, I have been with little Kellie having fun!

Isn't this the funniest picture ever!

I got a new car! It's a 1999 subaru outback legacy.

Introducing "Betty Blue Subee-q"

She rocks.

Stacy and Jeremy got hitched on Saturday and it was beautiful!

It was so fun being part of the wedding and seeing my little Stacy so happy.

I love these guys!

This month has also been filled with having fun with Suzy at Subway.

Hopefully the next time I post won't be in November...
