My Awesome Day + Pictures!

Today has been a great day!

First, I ate some delicious chili cheese dogs at the fellowship lunch and some oh-so-yummy funeral potatoes (thanks mom!) and colored a picture for Glendo that is pretty rockin. I miss you Glendo!

(This picture is courtesy of Amy's photo booth on her new Mac).

Next, My bro Craig (who is real Kaytee!),

called me and told me that he met Shaun Hunter from Boy Meets World! (Shaun is in the red shirt below) I also found out that Shaun's real name is "Rider Strong." Weird. You should have gotten a picture with him Craig, but I know that you will do that later with other celebrities when you are a big-time movie man!

Later, I saw baby Bella, AKA One Eyed Willie, at Amy's house and seeing puppies make me happy!

Remember when Bella looked like this? So Cute!

After that I headed to softball practice where we scrimmaged each other and saw Kelli do an awesome barrel roll that looked a little something like this...except it didn't because obviously this isn't a picture of Kelli, but you get the idea.

Finally, Whitney, Kaytee, Pepito and I watched the classic movie Zoolander.

There isn't anything more I need to say except "Orange Mocha Frappuccino!" We also realized that dogs, especially little chihuahuas named Pito, provide hours of non stop laughing entertainment!

This is Kaytee and Whit on Amy's Mac. Do you agree that this is one of the best pictures you have ever seen?!

That was my day! It was a good one as you can see. I wonder what tomorrow will bring...?

I feel like a rock star!

Last night I went to the University of Utah with Suzy and Kyle for a concert featuring
AUGUSTANA

HELLOGOODBYE

SHINY TOY GUNS

This concert was my first true mob experience. I lost my cell phone, but luckily one of Kyle's friends found it. People were pushing their way around like crazy, throwing soda pop everywhere, crowd surfing and falling on my head 3 times, it was awesome. To help tell my story of my first real mosh pit experience I drew a couple pictures for you...
Click on the image to make it bigger.
Here we are listening to Hellogoodbye and the lead singer was hilarious and kept saying "Hello College!" maybe he forgot where he was...
Third row and right in front of the crazy mob!

After a while I started getting crushed and I couldn't
even see Shiny Toy Guns so I stepped out onto the grass
where the interpretive dancers were. I felt really out of place
with the dancers, but at least I could see the band and breath!

Probably the best part was after the band stopped
playing and the people in the mosh pit started looking
for the things they lost. I could see people holding shoes and
sunglasses in the air trying to find the owners, and people
yelling trying to find their lost items. It was Hilarious!

It was so exciting! The weather, the bands, and even the crazy mob people that crowd surfed on my head and threw soda in my hair were great!

My President is gone

Charlton Heston died April 5

Charlton Heston has always had a special place in our hearts because my first car had a bumper sticker on it that said "Charlton Heston is my president," from the NRA. I believe it! He is my president.

Ben Hur

Planet of the Apes

NRA "From my cold dead hands!"

My favorite Heston movie. The Ten Commandments!

I know I didn't know him, but I did from his movies! So long old friend. You will be missed!
