first day of school

This little guy showed up at our house and took a nice nap... so my dad is going to build a "bat house" for him to live in and eat all of our mosquitos! welcome to the neighborhood little guy, you're welcome to stay for as long as you need!

I was walking in the Walmart parking lot today and I passed a subaru with one of those "all my grandchildren" stickers on it. "KREW" was on the list! it was amazingly funny!

some things change...

You may be wondering why I'm not in a car right now on my way to Missouri... well, it's crazy how things can change so fast. I was at cheer practice yesterday at 7:00am with every thought geared toward my trip that night, when Amy pulled me aside and told me that our grandma (my dads mom) had passed away in her sleep monday night (just like she wanted). The past month my grandma has been in the hospital with pneumonia. She came home last week, but got worse. We had the hospis come in on Monday(14th) and she didn't know how long my grandma would last; maybe a week or two. The funeral is on friday, and Amy, Craig, and I are going to sing "I Will Praise You In This Storm" (casting crowns) so I'm not going to go to Missouri. I'm a bit scared to sing and I don't like funerals or crying at all! I was really looking forward to this trip, but Micah comes back on monday and grandma wont. thanks for your prayers I love you guys!
