the real world...i guess

I have only graduated about a month ago, and i'm already starting to feel what some people would call the "real world." it's tough, and i'm not sure if i really like it yet. trying to find a way to pay for school, trips, and all that jazz, it's definitely showing me how to rely on God more and trust Him with EVERYTHING. i would appreciate your prayers and encouragement!

i'm so excited!

i'm so excited because my parents gave me my graduation present...yes i know it's almost a month late, but that's ok...so it's this awesome SWISS GEAR backpack. ya know swiss that makes the swiss army knives?...anyway it's the most comfortable backpack i've ever owened, and it's exactly like a swiss army knife...it has everything! the best part was inside...a LAPTOP! the backpack has a special compartment for the laptop and all the things that come with it. it's awesome! that's why i'm so excited!

help. give me your wisdom.

so during bible study this week, we talked a lot about righteousness. then it occurred to me...i have no idea what that is. i've always thought that if you're righteous, then you are obviously very generous and humble. but now i don't know what to think. i've been trying to study it in my bible since then, and i have a few ideas or so, but i really want you guys to help me out and tell me what you think. so, have at it.

just a refreshing thought...

so here is something that has been bothering me lately. from the parable of the 4 soils, i feel like the soil that's grounded, but grows up fast and has no roots. by that i mean that i read and get great ideas but never make them into actions, passions, etc... i need to act on what i read, or there was no reason for me to read it in the first place. i need to find joy in seeing how those actions affect me and others around me. so, i encourage you to live by doing not knowing. go deeper by figuring out how to apply what you've learned, and then do it!

Micah says, " Hey everybody!"

alrighty. here is micah's address for all of you who would like to write micah.

pfc KRISHNAN, MICAH
2nd PLT, Hco, 35th ENBN
Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473

based on his letters, the "Red Phase" is almost over. he really misses the fellowship, but is doing ok with the church down there, and says that he is going to start playing drums for the service! he loves the food and scenery, but it's the hardest thing he's ever done. mainly spiritually because there is no fellowship and the people that he has to be around make it harder. Keep praying for him.
