have i become a starving college student?!

well folks, that moment is here. Hilary and i are now paying my parents rent for living in our "apartment" in the basement. Hilary moved in last night (sunday), and what an eventful day that was. we should've had a parade or something...so i bought my own groceries, cleaning things, and all of that. i can tell you, that Target is so good, and let me tell you why. have you heard of their "dollar bins?" if you are at the Riverdale location, walk in the doors by the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut side, walk straight and you'll walk right into the most amazing thing there is for a starving college student...the dollar bins. the bins always have corny holiday goodies, and sometimes they have things worth looking at, but this time they had things worth buying. they had kitchen/cleaning supplies! buckets, sponges, brooms, dustpans, you name it. it was awesome, and all for 1 dollar! do it now!

i thought this picture was funny. it is not true, and i hope it NEVER is!

I still don't know how that is going to work out. It's not like you have a door that separates you from upstairs. It's going to be the same, you'll still go upstairs for food. Your roommate is going to be the one that lives downstairs not you. Sorry, but face the facts.

There isn't a door on the stairs, they can see and hear everything you guys do down there.
Some day, you will smell something nice and find yourself upstairs

i picture starving college students huddled in a apartment shared by 5 other roommates to save on rent wearing a jacket to save on heating and eating ramen noodles to save on groceries all under a huge pile of papers due yesterday. no offense sarah, but i don't think you've become a starving college student.
