Last night I went to the University of Utah with Suzy and Kyle for a concert featuring
AUGUSTANA
HELLOGOODBYE
SHINY TOY GUNS
This concert was my first true mob experience. I lost my cell phone, but luckily one of Kyle's friends found it. People were pushing their way around like crazy, throwing soda pop everywhere, crowd surfing and falling on my head 3 times, it was awesome. To help tell my story of my first real mosh pit experience I drew a couple pictures for you...

Here we are listening to Hellogoodbye and the lead singer was hilarious and kept saying "Hello College!" maybe he forgot where he was...
Third row and right in front of the crazy mob!
After a while I started getting crushed and I couldn't
even see Shiny Toy Guns so I stepped out onto the grass
where the interpretive dancers were. I felt really out of place
with the dancers, but at least I could see the band and breath!
Probably the best part was after the band stopped
playing and the people in the mosh pit started looking
for the things they lost. I could see people holding shoes and
sunglasses in the air trying to find the owners, and people
yelling trying to find their lost items. It was Hilarious!
It was so exciting! The weather, the bands, and even the crazy mob people that crowd surfed on my head and threw soda in my hair were great!
